Terms of Service
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of bayadbox.com and the BayadBox platform, operated by AIO Technologies (“BayadBox,” “we,” “us”). By using our website, applying as a partner store, or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. What BayadBox Is
BayadBox is a payment services platform that enables sari-sari stores and small retailers (“Partner Stores”) to offer digital financial services — including e-load, e-wallet cash-in/cash-out, bills payment, domestic remittance (padala), and BayadCard issuance and loading — through a single application, float, and settlement process.
Regulated financial services accessed through the platform are provided by, or in partnership with, financial institutions duly licensed and supervised by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). BayadBox operates in alignment with applicable Philippine law, including Republic Act No. 11765 (Financial Products and Services Consumer Protection Act), Republic Act No. 8792 (E-Commerce Act), and BSP regulations applicable to the services offered.
2. Partner Store Eligibility and Obligations
To become a Partner Store, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts
- Operate a legitimate retail business in the Philippines
- Complete our onboarding process, including identity verification (KYC) and submission of accurate business information
- Maintain a sufficient operating float for transactions you process
As a Partner Store, you agree to:
- Process transactions honestly and only through the official BayadBox application
- Follow all KYC and AML procedures required by the platform, including verifying customer identity where required (see our AML & KYC Policy)
- Charge only the fees displayed by the platform
- Keep your account credentials secure and not share access with unauthorized persons
- Not use the platform for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering, fraud, or transactions on behalf of sanctioned persons
3. Fees, Commissions, and Settlement
Transaction fees, partner commissions, and settlement schedules are disclosed within the BayadBox application and may be updated with prior notice. Commissions are credited per the settlement schedule. You are responsible for your own tax obligations arising from commissions earned.
4. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate a Partner Store account, with or without prior notice, where we reasonably believe there has been fraud, AML/KYC violations, misuse of the platform, or breach of these Terms. Lawful obligations — including record retention and regulatory reporting — survive termination.
5. Intellectual Property
The BayadBox and BayadCard names, logos, applications, and website content are the property of AIO Technologies. Partner Stores are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use BayadBox branding solely to identify their participation in the network.
6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided “as is.” While we work to keep services available and accurate, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the platform is limited to the fees earned by us from the transactions giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under Philippine consumer protection law.
7. Consumer Assistance (RA 11765)
In line with the Financial Products and Services Consumer Protection Act, we maintain a consumer assistance mechanism. If you have a complaint about a transaction or service:
- Email [email protected] with the subject “Complaint,” including the transaction reference, date, amount, and a description of the issue.
- We will acknowledge your complaint within two (2) banking days and aim to resolve it within nine (9) banking days for simple cases, consistent with BSP consumer protection standards.
- If your concern involves a BSP-supervised financial institution partner and is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may escalate to the BSP Consumer Assistance Mechanism — bsp.gov.ph.
8. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute not resolved through the consumer assistance process shall be brought exclusively before the proper courts of the Philippines.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes affecting Partner Stores will be communicated through the application or by email.
